DREAM REAVERS 7 SINS ANTHOLOGY PROJECT

***ATTENTION TO ALL ASPIRING COMIC CREATORS***

DREAM REAVERS- 7 SINS Anthology.

To celebrate the release of the trade paperback version of Ape Entertainment's hit mini-series, DREAM REAVERS; comic creator Raphael Moran has announced the new anthology "Dream Reavers-7 sins".   7 different artists, 7 different writers, 7 different sinfully devious standalone stories.

DREAM REAVERS 7 SINS-
The evil Spook King is building an army evil nightmares to help him in his quest to take over the land of Astral.   He picks 7 sinful people with 7 sinful nightmares and recruits them to his side.    Each standalone story is interconnected by this main plot.

"I'm putting out a open call to any aspiring writer out there.   This is a chance to get your first work published.  It's a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, so to speak," Raphael Moran announced.    "Four years ago I submitted to a anthology just like this and here I am now with a mini-series and a load of other comics under my belt."

"All you need to do is write a stand alone short story that features one of the 7 deadly sins as the main plot point.   The stories will be between 5 to 15 pages in length.   The writer can bring their own creative team in or if they don't have one I'll see if I can find one for them.  The stories have no connection to the Dream Reavers comic series, so you don't need to have read them to write the comic.   The stories are open to any genre you like, but must have a twist or ironic ending to them.    For example, think back to an episode of The Twilight Zone, or Amazing Stories.   Each story will be depicted as a dream within the anthology and each story must either deal with LUST, GLUTTONY, GREED, WRATH, SLOTH, ENVY AND PRIDE.    Only 7 stories can get in, so the sooner you submit the better.   The deadline is July 4th, 2012.  Send a short synopsis of your story to DreamReavers@gmail.com with the subject title "7 Sins submission"

"We'll hopefully release the first of the stories digitally and depending on the success of the digital format we'll do a print run.  This is not a upfront paid gig.  All writers or creative teams keep all the creative rights to the stories and will receive a backend profit on the sales of the book.   They'll also receive 25 copies of the book if it gets a print run.   I'm also giving away signed copies of the original Dream Reavers mini-series.  You'll also be invited to do various signings when the book is printed."
